To a Socialist State in 100 days

Many are the voices of those expounding the praises of our current President and his first 100 days in office. Few are there who would rise up and raise their voice to disagree with his calamitous plunge into unabashed socialism. Take for one simple instance the swine flu "pandemic". There have been some confirmed cases of this strain of flu that does not naturally fuse together.

This condition has brought to the forefront some startling information. The "stimulus" bill recently passed by Congress has some very disturbing revelations. Chief among them is that this bill established a board which will determine the health care that Americans will receive. "The House bill calls for this appointed board, dubbed the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research, to be at least 50 percent 'physicians or other experts with clinical expertise.'" http://washingtontimes.com/news/2009/feb/05/stimulus-bill-may-change-health-care-forever/ These "experts" must be bureaucrats. Yes you read that right. Here is the quote from the same article linked above: "However, there is no way the Council's 15 members - all of whom also must be employed in federal government agencies - can determine which drug or treatment is going to work." So what we have here are government agents known as bureaucrats to the rest of the populace, as the sole judges on which types and at what prices healthcare may be dispensed to citizens of the United States.

Socialized medicine is the term for government control of healthcare. Hilary Clinton tried to establish this as early as September 28, 1993. Thankfully there was such a public outcry over the idea of the Federal government telling the average American what kind of health care they could receive and in what amount, that it was never brought to a vote. Many future candidates in the years since would not have dared to bring up the words "healthcare" and "governmental control". We are obviously long past the point of fear of political retribution if a Senator or Representative voted for this "stimulus package". How can I say that? Simply put, by their own admission, none of the Senators and Representatives who voted for this bill ever read it in it's entirety. Over 1000 pages of legislation and no one read it?

America is fast losing her Republic. Citizen, you must act now to reclaim our rights to self determination. Contact your Senator and Representative and comment regarding this socialistic surreptitious power play.

I certainly hope that this frightens the average American into getting away from the latest smoke and mirrors of television and engaging themselves in the process of confronting their legislator who voted for this socialistic engineering bill.
